Shine for Salisbury - have you got talent?
Would you like to perform in front of thousands at this summer's Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury?
Enter our Shine for Salisbury online competition and it could be you on our main stage at Hudson's Field.
We're giving bands, acts and performers the chance to compete for three prime slots one on each of the three days, 28, 29 and 30 June.
All you need to do is email us with a link to YouTube footage of your band/act performing which will be uploaded to this page. The public will vote for their favourite with the winners announced on 23 March.
The competition is open to civilian individuals and groups, aged 16 and over, who live in Wiltshire. It is also open to UK based military personnel. This can be bands, choirs, orchestras, singers, theatre performers, dance groups.

To enter you must be:
- A civilian individual or group living or based in Wiltshire
- UK based military personnel
- Available all day on 28, 29 or 30 June to perform
- Performing an act suitable for a family audience
- Doing a routine which will last 10 minutes
- You must also have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of the competition

The closing date for entries is 15 February. All shortlisted entries will be posted for the public vote from 25 February. The winners will be announced on 23 March.
The countdown has started to the Armed Forces Day 2019 National Event in Salisbury! This exciting three-day event, being held in Salisbury from June 28 to 30, is now live! An anticipated 250,000 people are expected over the three days to join the celebrations and recognise our armed forces and the vital role they play in protecting us and our country, as well as honouring our veterans.
The packed programme features military parades, fly pasts and an air show, concerts, live entertainment, trade stands and exhibitors, military and other displays, concerts and fireworks.
The event will also be going for a world record to create the largest human poppy on the event site at Hudson's Field.
