The wait is over! The headliners of the Friday at Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury later this month have been announced today.

Shine for Salisbury winners Duck n Cuvver will get the evening going before headliners The Feeling take to the stage for the live music, hosted by platinum sponsor KBR Aspire Defence.

On the Saturday, the main act, which will be announced soon, will be supported by The Upbeat Beatles and Shine for Salisbury winners The Treblemakers. The Saturday night live music is sponsored by platinum sponsor Lovell.

Internationally renowned band Björn Again will bring the three-day spectacular to a close on performing many of ABBA's greatest hits after a rousing performance by the third Shine for Salisbury winners, Salisbury Rock Choir.

Baroness Scott of Bybrook OBE, leader of Wiltshire Council, said: "We're delighted to be unveiling our full line-up for the main stage over the next few days, we know a lot of people have been waiting excitedly to hear who will be performing.

"We're proud to be putting on not just one but three evenings of high calibre live music. With these wonderful names, including The Feeling, The Upbeat Beatles and Björn Again, this is a really varied line-up that will appeal to everyone."

Free tickets for the three days are now available online but are going fast. You can book yours by visiting www.wiltshire.gov.uk/salisbury-afd.

The event is supported by platinum sponsors KBR Aspire Defence and Lovell and the official main charity partner SSAFA. Armed Forces Day is an opportunity to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community from current serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets. Armed Forces Day nationally takes place on the last Saturday in June, this year it is on 29 June with the national event being held in Salisbury. Celebrations begin on Monday 24 June when the Armed Forces Day flag is raised on buildings and landmarks across the country. Showing support for the Armed Forces provides a much-valued morale boost for troops and their families.
