Talk addresses the power of social media

Wiltshire Council is hosting the next in their series of EPIC Talks, which is about how social media can be a positive force for change.

Natalie Sherman, founder of the Naturally Social communications agency, is speaking at County Hall, Trowbridge, on 25 September from 5:30pm.

The company has supported over 150 businesses with their social media strategy since it was founded in 2015.

Among her work, Natalie led a social media campaign that helped Wiltshire Air Ambulance raise £10,000 in under 72 hours.

Joanne Pitt, director of human resources and organisational development at Wiltshire Council, said: "We've been delighted with the feedback received from the previous EPIC Talks we've hosted. We are trying to cover a range of topics that inspire debate and conversation. Social media is prevalent in most of our daily lives either directly or indirectly so this talk from Natalie will be topical and very worthwhile.

"We're also very excited about the other great speakers we've got lined up for future talks."

Natalie Sherman, said: "I'm really passionate about how if done well, social media can motivate and inspire our communities, so I'm really excited to be sharing this message in a public sector environment"

The event is the latest in Wiltshire Council's EPIC Talks series, which aims to stimulate debate and learning by inviting inspirational speakers to share their knowledge.
