Supporting the police with firearms surrender

We are supporting our partners at Wiltshire Police with a national firearms and ammunition surrender.

The surrender runs from 13 November until 26 November and gives people the chance to dispose of firearms or ammunition by simply taking them to a local police station and handing them over.

As we share two of our buildings with Wiltshire Police Monkton Park and Bourne Hill we thought it would be useful for you to be aware of this campaign and not be alarmed if you observe people handing in weapons.

Trained police staff will be receiving the weapons and have been briefed regarding the surrender and the measures in place, so they can receive any surrendered firearms during opening hours in a safe manner.

There will be police staff on the front desks at all times during the amnesty.
