Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre
Overview
Enabling people to lead happier, healthier lives through regular physical activity. Our aim is to promote general wellbeing, by providing a safe and supportive environment for the whole community to feel welcome and encouraged to visit us
Our team and external contractors, 3TI, thank you for your ongoing support and flexibility around our current car park project.
The project is now reaching the later stages. Therefore, between Monday 11 March and Sunday 31 March there will be significant impact to parking provision. We urge you to plan your trip throughout this period accordingly to ensure you arrive for your activity in good time. We also ask that you are mindful of the fluid temporary traffic and pedestrian management during this time which will be communicated via signage and supervised on the ground by on site contractors
To reduce the impact we have worked in collaboration with our internal partners to secure additional parking to the rear of the centre throughout the works. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation

Decarbonisation works at the centre
The centre is now operating on zero carbon emissions.
In line with our aspiration to become carbon neutral by 2030, Wiltshire Council has been undertaking a programme of works across many of its buildings to reduce the energy used in those buildings. These works will also reduce carbon emissions and help to lower energy bills. You can read more about the whole programme in our recent press release.
The council was awarded a grant from the government's Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme that has funded the installation of a new low carbon heating system at Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre and provided solar panels to produce renewable electricity.
These works are complete, and the centre will no longer rely on fossil fuels for heating and with the Green electricity tariff that the council has procured, the centre will be reporting zero carbon emissions.
