Wiltshire council sites

The council own and manage five residential Gypsy & Traveller sites that are located countywide. These sites provide permanent accommodation in the form of "family pitches" on which a building is provided to facilitate:

  • Cooking
  • Washing
  • Bathing etc.

The families occupy under licence conditions and are subject to pay:

  • Rent
  • Council tax
  • Site service charge
  • Water
  • Electricity usage

They provide their own sleeping accommodation in the form of a caravan/mobile home.
